Hello fellow substance use disorder specialists! I'm a family physician and obtained Addiction Medicine certification in Jan 2020 through ABPM practice pathway. My initial substance use training was in New York at a federally qualified health center primarily treating opioid use disorders with buprenorphine/naloxone. I now also work with a telemedicine company focused on alcohol use disorders prescribing naltrexone. Currently, I'm located in El Paso, Texas as the spouse of an active duty Army surgeon. I'm eager to continue to educate others on substance use disorders and be a part of bringing Texas up to speed with other states regarding substance use disorder treatment.
